Today, at midnight, at the checkpoint "Dyakove", border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment together with customs officials, during a joint inspection of a passenger car "Volkswagen", which was leaving Ukraine, found 150 packs of cigarettes. The Hungarian citizen, who had arrived in the above car at the "green corridor" lane, was visibly anxious when passing customs control, so border guards decided to conduct in-depth inspection of his car. Sniffer dog Casper helped the border guards to find the cigarettes.
The cigarettes "ROTHMANS" in the amount of 140 packs and the cigarettes "KENT" in the amount of 10 packs with excise stamps Ukraine were hidden under a decorative lining of his car ceiling.
The found cigarettes and the car were seized from the foreigner. The cigarettes were valued at 2,040 UAH and the van at almost 40,000 UAH.
