"Novecento / 1900 / Good Story" – is a mono-performance in a stereo-jazz format.
This project is based on the play by Italian writer and musician Alessandro Baricco. The author, director, composer, actor and, of course, pianist is one person – RoyalMan, Mike Kaufman-Portnikov. It is his good story. The story of a pianist who never left the ship.
Everything is live: from music to reactions of the artist and the audience.
The audience dive into the world of the play, live through the characters’ stories. "And when you have a good story and the one to whom you must tell it, you’re alive!"
