Mass caroling in Transcarpathia
January 17, on the territory of Uzhgorod Skansen, there will be the annual festival called "Carols in the old village", where, starting at 12.30, carolers from almost all over Transcarpathia will be singing.
The event will bring together groups from different towns of the region to create the atmosphere of Christmas.
It will start at 11.00 with the traditional holiday prayers in the church of St. Archangel Michael, located in the museum of folk architecture. After that, the visitors will have a chance to listen to talented folk carolers.
In addition, during the festival, visitors will also be able to taste New Year and Christmas dishes of the ethnic Transcarpathian cuisine.
