Executors of shady schemes, appointed by the previous government of the city as the management of Uzhgorod city maternity hospital revealed themselves with a false start – the online edition Zakarpattya-online wrote.
The publication notes that in the evening of February 26, a number of electronic news resources, that belong to the family of the former Mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Pogorelov and the Party of Regions, published a strange anonymous statement formally signed "The staff of Uzhgorod maternity hospital."
Although, there was no real signature under this "document", and it was published only by biased and unpopular media, it voiced quite genuine fear of certain people to lose their "money" positions. "Those are the current leaders of the city maternity hospital Oleg Onopko and Ruslan Fedko, scandalously appointed by the former mayor V.Pogorelov to establish shady schemes of the distribution of cash flows that pass through Uzhgorod maternity hospital"- Zakarpattya-online wrote.
The key point of this statement was a request not to reinstate the former chief physician of Uzhgorod maternity hospital Andriy Chaban on this position. To give weight to this request, its anonymous authors resorted to outright lies about A.Chaban.
The next day, February 27, the next measure, which had the same purpose, was implemented. They delegated at the session of Uzhgorod City Council a group of employees from the maternity hospital, mostly nurses, who had to convince deputies that the staff did not want to see A.Chaban as the chief doctor.
Therefore, Zakarpattya online appealed to A.Chaban with the question on his possible return to the post of the chief physician.
"Please, leave the staff of the hospital in their hard work alone, especially in this very difficult time for our country, and do not divide the staff of the facility into supporters and opponents of certain candidates. I have not agreed to the proposal to appoint me to the position of the chief physician of the hospital in this transition period until the election of the city council and the mayor of Uzhgorod. Now, it is not that important who exactly will head the institution, it is important whether the institution will eradicate those specific methods of work implemented by current management. Therefore, if the current management have the desire to fight potential contenders for their positions by specific methods typical to them, they must find other target," – A.Chaban said.
