On Friday, at 21:00, a 28-year-old resident of the city reported to Uzhgorod rescuers that in the garden at the place of his residence, during the earthworks, he had found a 50 mm mortar shell of the World War II period with traces of corrosion.
At 22.00, officers of the bomb squad of State Emergencies Service office removed the mortar shell to the military training ground near the village of Orikhovytsya and disposed of it.
