An alley in Uzhgorod may be named after Andriy Palay fallen in the Russian-Ukrainian War

The draft decision "On naming the city alley after Andriy Palay" is to be considered at the next meeting of the Uzhgorod city council on Tuesday.

By the relevant document, deputies are proposed to name after Andriy Palay the alley connecting Zankovetska Street and Peremoha Street and leading to the school number 19.

The soldier of the 15th Battalion of the 128th brigade, Uzhgorod resident Andriy Palay fell in a battle with Russian invaders near Debaltseve in Donetsk region on February 8, 2015. He was buried in Uzhgorod on February 18, 2015, on the Hill of Fame at the age of 29 years. 
According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Andriy Palay was awarded with the order "For courage" of the III degree. In May this year, a memorial plaque was installed on the facade of the secondary school №19, where he studied.
