The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Norway to Ukraine Jon Elvedal Fredriksen came to Transcarpathia for the first time – to get acquainted with the region and to examine the investment climate:
– Although there is no Norwegian investment in Transcarpathia yet, but your region is very interesting for us, therefore I want our Chamber of Commerce to organize a trip for Norwegian businessmen here.
Moreover, said the Ambassador, comfortable conditions for cooperation for small and medium enterprises are ensured, in particular, by the Free Trade Agreement signed between Ukraine and EFTA States (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Norway).
Also, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Norway to Ukraine Jon Elvedal Fredriksen said: Norway is ready to share their experience in cross-border cooperation and learn from the experience of Transcarpathia on local border traffic with the countries of the Schengen area.
