The official opening of the international children’s and youth festival of folk art "Emerald Springs" took place Mukachevo.
The opening ceremony took place in the central part of the city, on Cyril and Methodius square.
This year about 500 participants from different parts of Ukraine came to the festival.
The competition program of the festival will begin today at 11.30 in the Peremoha Park.
On May 5, at 12.00, a gala concert and awarding ceremony will take place also in the Peremoha Park.
Recall that the competition program includes:
– vocal art (soloists, duets, trio, ensembles);
– groups (folk groups, orchestras of folk instruments);
– choreographic art (choreographic groups, duets);
– decorative arts and crafts;
– fine art;
– photo art.
During the festival, there will be rides on the territory of the park. Visitors will be able to enjoy Transcarpathian food, delicious cakes, ice cream.
And also to attend master classes and make souvenirs on their own.
