A year before the elections, Pogorelov will be financing NGOs

Uzhgorod City Council plan to adopt the program to support community organizations in the social area in 2014. It is planned to allocate for the program 348,000 UAH from the city budget – this is stated in the draft decision of the City Council. The money will be spent on the provision of financial assistance, the celebrations on the occasion of memorable dates, the purchase of office supplies, organization of leisure.

348,000 will be divided between 15 NGOs of the city. The money will go to the Association of disabled "Optimist" (36 thousands), the Association of Afghan war participants (40), the city organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine (8), the city branch of the National Veterans Association (35.5), the Association of visually impaired "Wonderworld" (13.3), the organization "Protecting Children of War" (18), the city organization of veterans (28.6), family house of the Foundation "New Family" (60), the organization "Chernobyl Union of Ukraine" (7.5), the city branch of the National organization of disabled veterans, soldiers and combatants (28), the Regional Association of War Veterans (13), the city organization "Society of volunteers – war veterans of Transcarpathia" (5), the City Organization of Ukrainian Society of Political Prisoners and Repressed (25), Uzhgorod branch of Ukranian Association of Hearing Impared (24) and Uzhgorod branch of Ukranian Association of Vusually Impared (5.5).
