A woman’s body was found in one of the Uzhgorod hostels

Yesterday, February 8, Uzhgorod police received a report that a woman without signs of life had been found in a room of one of the local hostels. This was reported by the Communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police.
An investigative team of the police department was working at the scene. Police officers identified the woman. She was a foreigner born in 1988, a student at a local university. According to her acquaintances, the woman had not been in touch for two days.
During the examination of the body, the police did not find any trace of violent death, the body of the woman was sent to the morgue to determine the cause of death.
The police are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident. The incident was registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with the note "natural death".
