A vernissage of a native of Uzhgorod Mykola Fedkovich opens tomorrow in the “Ilko Gallery” (Announcement)

On May 31, at 18:00, the vernissage of Slovak artist Mykola Fedkovich, who is a native of Uzhgorod, will take place at the art center "Ilko Gallery".
This exhibition is part of the series "Mykola Fedkovich Tour" prepared by the "Gallery at Kezmarok angel’s." The artist is considered an art aristocrat because his works can convince everyone that classic painting is still relevant and can easily surprise with its history and charm.
The author draws inspiration in the Dutch genre painting of the 17th century and in Gothic art.
Mykola Fedkovich was born on May 13, 1945, in Uzhgorod in the family of Slovaks. He studied in Brno and Prague. Then he taught at the Art College in Košice, which he later headed. Currently the artist lives and works in the eastern capital of Slovakia.
Admission fee: 20 UAH, for students: 10 UAH.
