Police officers from Mizhhirya and Vynogradiv districts detained a 26-year-old man who was hiding from the investigation after he had committed a crime. He is currently in custody. Investigators of the Mizhhirya Police Department have completed a pre-trial investigation into a case involving the theft of money from a local coffee shop. The accused in the case is a 26-year-old resident of Vynogradiv district.
In addition, it has already been established that the man is suspected of committing a crime in Vynogradiv district.
The offender tried to avoid punishment and was hiding from the police and prosecution.
However, as a result of the joint work of the Mizhhirya and Vynogradiv district police, the man’s whereabouts were established. The resident of the village of Veryatsia was detained in the town of Vynogradiv.
The defendant was taken to court, and yesterday, November 14, he was remanded in custody. The fugitive is currently being held in a pre-trial detention center.
