A Transcarpathian researcher, who earned abroad 2.5 million, was reported to the tax service by the SSU

The State Tax Service in Transcarpathian region received from the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region the information on the cash flow to the accounts of a citizen of Ukraine. Based on the information received, tax specialists reviewed the financial transactions of the said individual.

It turned out that foreign companies were paying to the Transcarpathian the remuneration for research and development in the health sector. In violation of the current legislation, the beneficiary has not declared more than 2.5 million hryvnias of that income received over three years. Following the audit, the tax authorities accrued 356,000 UAH of the individuals income tax. As of now, the accrued amount has been paid to the budget in full.

The State Tax Service in Transcarpathian region urges citizens to declare their income received in 2012.Declaration shall be submitted by May 1, 2013 to the tax office at the place of residence.
