The man, however, did not have time to enjoy 700 UAH, earned on the sale of weapons, as he was promptly arrested by police officers, and now will be brought to criminal responsibility.
In the course of search operations, officers of the Criminal Investigation department of Svalyava police received the information that a resident of Svalyava was looking for a buyer for firearms.
The police detained the 67-year-old resident of Svalyava after he had sold the 16 caliber shotgun to a young buyer from Volovets district for 700 UAH.
Physical evidence – money and weapons – was seized. Criminal proceedings over this fact was initiated, the offender was arrested.
