On April 25, an unknown person reported to Vynogradiv district police department about an accident in the village of Shyroke.
The investigative team headed by the chief of the police station Janos Dorchynets was immediately sent to the scene. Vynogradiv law enforcement officers found out that a 44-year-old resident of the village of Vilkhivka in Irshava district, driving a car "Opel Astra", in the village of Shyroke in Vynogradiv District, exceeded the allowable speed limit, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a car "Daewoo Lanos", driven by a 34-year-old resident of Tyachiv district. His 25-year-old pregnant wife and son were riding in the car with him.
As a result of the accident, the driver of "Opel Astra" and the driver of "Daewoo Lanos" with his wife died on the spot from the injuries, the child of the couple, a 5-year-old boy was taken to Khust district hospital.
This incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations on the grounds of criminal offense under Part 3 of Art.286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety or vehicle operation rules by driver).
