Rescuers of the Uzhgorod Mountain Search and Rescue Group were sent to look for the woman. At 00:30, on July 22, they received a message from local border guards that an exhausted elderly woman had been found in a forest near the border in vicinity of the village of Onokivtsi.
At the scene, the rescuers gave the victim a sedative, because the woman was quite scared and wrapped her in a special film to warm her up. Then they carried her to the vehicle and took her to her home in the village Onokivtsi, where her family members were waiting for her, – the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathia reported.
