30,000,000 – for the new perinatal center in Transcarpathia

The construction of the Perinatal Center in Transcarpathia will begin this year. This was announced today at a press conference by the head Capital Construction Department of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration Stepan Bordash.

The official said that currently, the approval of the list of equipment is pending at the Ministry of Health. "If it is approved, the list will be submitted to the expert committee. Now we can say that the technical equipment will cost 25-30 million hryvnias," – Stepan Bordash said.

Currently in Transcarpathia, the construction of 8 education and 5 health facilities is underway. The construction is carried out largely at the expense of regional and state budgets.

This year they plan to put into operation the Surgery Department of the Regional Clinical Hospital for 150 beds. The construction works are currently in the final stage. The project is 95% ready.  2.3 million hryvnias are necessary to complete the works.

For education facilities in 2013, it is planned to allocate 13 million hryvnias. For health care facilities – 16 million hryvnias.
