Recently, a truck arrived to the customs post “Uzhgorod” of the Transcarpathian customs office. According to the filed documents, the truck was carrying 42 cubic meters of edged softwood lumber. The cargo followed from Ternopil to Prague.
As a result of an in-depth inspection, Transcarpathian customs officers found there tobacco products without excise stamps made in Belarus. Currently, the amount of the cigarettes is being established, the report on violation of customs rules will be drawn up.

Today, 247 policemen, who have just completed a three-month training courses, solemnly took the oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian state. The landmark event in the history of the Transcarpathian police was held on Narodna Square in the regional center.
