The Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vitaliy Malikov once again called on the members of the "Right Sector" to surrender and lay down arms. This statement was made by the official in Mukachevo at the briefing before the media.
"Currently pre-trial investigation in two criminal cases has been initiated and is conducted. Also, 15 searches are being conducted. We stand on the side of the law. It is a categorical stance of both the President of Ukraine and the head of the Security Service" – the official said.
Overall, the briefing of Vitaliy Malikov before the local office of the Security Service of Ukraine lasted only 5 minutes. The official mostly refused to comment on any details of the case, arguing that this could harm the investigation. In addition, according to media reports, Mr. Malikov said that the time for negotiations was almost out.
