Mandatory accounting of heat and water is being introduced in Ukraine. From now one, Uzhgorod residents will be paying only for the consumed resources.
The Head of State signed the Law of Ukraine "On Commercial Accounting of Thermal Energy and Water Supply", which defines the procedure for equipping buildings with metering devices, their maintenance, replacement and accounting, the list of mandatory information for the generation of utility bills, the general procedure for access to metering devices, liability for non-compliance with the requirements of the law.
The issues of accounting and regulation of heat consumption in houses with vertical heating system will be regulated, installation of distribution devices and heat regulators for all heating radiators will be mandatory.
