The exhibition of photographs dedicated to the importance and value of virgin forests, has been presented in the atrium of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. More than two dozen photographs show primeval beech forests of the Carpathians, wildlife and the beauty of national parks and reserves funds in Transcarpathia.
The exhibition is organized within the project "Preservation of the Carpathian virgin forests" on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the inclusion of the Carpathian primeval beech forests to the World Heritage List. With this photo exhibition, the initiators – Ukrainian Bird Protection Society with the support of the Frankfurt Zoological Society (Germany) – want to draw attention to the problem of preserving the ancient forests of the Carpathians.
The photo exhibition will take place in the foyer of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration until the end of the week, where anyone can see it.
