UZ will fight speculators with “hryvnia”

Within three hours before departure, the train ticket can be returned only for 50% of its price, and after the departure – only for 10%.

According to the Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov, the new rules should demotivate speculators. The introduction of contactless railway tickets should also help combat resellers.

Note: currently the passenger is recovered the full price of the ticket returned within 24 hours before departure, excluding additional fees and commissions. The work on the transition to electronic passenger tickets which do not require their printing is planned to be completed in October.
